It is with great sadness that the family of Robert F. Fulton Jr. (Bob) announce his passing after a long illness on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the age of 69.
A New England native, Bob was born in Waltham, MA, raised in Sudbury, MA and spent many years living in Mansfield, MA. He owned and operated Page Auto Service, was a volunteer fire fighter and an EMT while living in Hillsborough, New Hampshire. The majority of his career was spent as an Automotive Parts and Service Director in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for many years prior to retiring to Stella, NC. in 2012. Bob loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed boating here on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy A. Fulton; daughter Kimberly M. Lowther and husband Bill of Mendon, MA; son, Robert F. Fulton lll of New Bern NC. Grandsons; William and Brian Lowther of Mendon, MA and Logan Fulton of New Bern, NC; sister Debra Wood and husband George of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert F Fulton Sr. and Edith L Fulton of Hopedale, MA; and his beloved dog Scout Remington.
The family will celebrate Bob’s life privately.
