Betty Carolyn Barbour

Betty Willis Barbour, 77, of Newport, passed away Thursday July 7, 2016 at PruittHealth of Sea Level. Family will celebrate her life privately. Mrs. Barbour retired from Duke Medical Center, NC, as an MLPN. She is survived by her son Moses "Buddy" Barbour Jr. (Denise Rich) of Granville County; three daughters, Debra Barbour Davies (Bill) of Statesville; Teresa Barbour Proctor (Randy) of Newport; Tami Barbour Tuck (Tim) of Granville; five grandchildren, Corye Barbour Dunn (Denise Dunn) of Durham; Leslie Proctor of Newport; Moses "Luke" Barbour III (Jamie Dunn) of Granville County; Beverly Proctor Tanner of Newport; and Cody Tuck of Raleigh.; eight great-grandchildren, Josephine Barbour, Moses Barbour IV, Hunter Proctor, Hailey Proctor, Sophia Barbour, Jacob Proctor, Harley Proctor, and Crysta Proctor.
