Obituary Brandon Eugene Williams, 20, of Newport, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Newport. Brandon was a graduate of West Carteret High School and was working on becoming an auto mechanic. Brandon loved to work on cars and had a passion for taking things apart to see how they work, but not necessarily getting them back together. He enjoyed video games, fishing and anything that involved working with his hands. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 3:00 PM 5:00 PM with a prayer service starting at 4:30 PM at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort officiated by Pastor John Spier. He is survived by his mother, Daphane Williams of Newport; father, Keith McKean and his wife Helen of Newport; step-sister, Amanda Murray; maternal grandmother, Beulah Williams; aunt, Linda Devera; uncle, Jesse Williams; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as his girlfriend. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Williams; aunt, Penny Gage; and great-grandmother, Vivian Hamilton.
