Brandon Mercer White

Brandon Mercer White, 32, of Newport, passed away Saturday April 2, 2016. God has called another angel home. Brandon left behind his "Nanny" Charlotte Dugee of Newport, his "Mom" Denise White Whan of Newport, his "Dad" Jeff Mercer of Broad Creek. He also left behind his sister Samantha Mercer and her fianc Donovan Johnson of Broad Creek, a son Cody James of Broad Creek, a daughter Riley Elise from California, and many Aunts, Uncles, & cousins that he loved dearly. Brandon loved the beach, he loved any time he could spend there and was an avid surfer. Brandon was also a pro at any sport ever known. You could ask him a question about any sports and he always knew the answer. He will be missed greatly while resting in the arms of our Father God. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Reeses Chapel of Mill Creek with Bob Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:45 PM Friday at the church. Following the funeral the family will continue a Celebration of Life at the clubhouse at Castle Glen 1800 Pollard Ct. Newport, NC.
