Capt. Donald Flood

Capt. Donald Flood, 67, of Harkers Island, crossed the bar unexpectedly Sunday morning November 5, 2017 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern with his family by his side. Donald and Linda ran Fisherman Inn on Harkers Island for 12 years and he ran the charter boat Fish Chaser and Chasers Toy for years. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda; son, Chase and wife, Christine of Wendell; daughter, Sutherlin of Wilmington, NC; two beautiful grandchildren Renee and Reece; sister, Susan Hayes and husband, Randy of Epson; brother, Barry and wife, Pam of Roanoke, VA; also many nieces and nephews.
