Clinton "Buddy" Smith Sr., 57, of Beaufort, passed away Monday July 27, 2015 at his home. Buddy worked as a painter for over 30 years in Carteret County. The family will celebrate his life privately. He is survived by his wife, Mary Smith of Beaufort; son, Clint Smith Jr. of Beaufort; daughter, Melissa Smith of Beaufort; four grandchildren, Jasmine Lofton, Ethen Smith, Caleb Smith, Evelynn Smith; two sisters, Tina Morris of Morehead City; Sherry Morris of Beaufort, mother, Mildred Smith.
