Obituary Jacqueline "Gay" Lewis Rouse, 52, of Beaufort, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort with Jay Noe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 Wednesday at the Church. The family has requested those attending to wear bright colorful clothing in memory of Gay. Burial will take place at 10:00 AM Thursday at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Rouse of Beaufort; two stepsons, Jackie Rouse II and wife, Desiree of Newport; Jason Rouse of Boston, MA; grandson, Jackie "Jack" Rouse III of Newport; granddaughter, Kinley Rouse of Newport; brother, Keith Lewis Sr. of Beaufort; mother in law, Carolyn Rouse of Farmville, NC; uncle, Kenny and Patti Lewis of Beaufort; niece, Louann Lewis Barnes of Beaufort; two great nieces, Brittney Phelan and Hailey Barnes; great nephew, Landon Barnes; niece, Lacey Lewis Wade of Newport; nephew, Keith Lewis Jr. and wife, Jaime of Newport; great niece, Katelyn Lewis; great nephew, Christian Lewis; nephew, Nicholas Lewis of Beaufort; great nephew, Maddux Lewis and her best friend, Harley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Jackie Lewis.
