Obituary Joey Proffitt, 57, of Beaufort passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Joey made his living as a carpenter doing work on both homes and boats. Joey is survived by his three brothers and two sisters.
