Kevin Mayo

Kevin Nolan Mayo, 46, of Morehead City, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville.

Kevin was born and raised in the Simpson, NC area and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer at the Simpson Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Mayo of Morehead City; son, Spencer Mayo of Greenville; daughter, Allyson Mayo of Greenville; brother, Tracey Mayo and wife, Amanda of Greenville; father, Johnnie Mayo and wife, Georgia of Greenville; stepbrother, Jeremy Harris; aunt, Jackie Wall of Greenville; first cousin, Kimberly Justice and husband, Lee of Greenville; second cousins: Bryson, Weslee, and Kaleb Justice all of Greenville; and his beloved pet, Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mayo and his maternal grandparents, Thelma and Ham Porter; paternal grandparents, Wiley Thomas, Sr and Mary Elizabeth Mayo.
