Willie Mccoy George

Brother Willie McCoy George was born to the late Cecil and Robena George on October 26, 1952 in Harlowe, NC. He was called from labor to reward on June 29, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Hospice House of Newport where he departed peacefully surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Craven Corner Missionary Baptist Church of Harlowe. Entombment will follow at the George Family Cemetery in Harlowe. Brother Willie McCoy George was educated in the Craven County School System. He worked many trades. His most rememberable was as a logger for his father Cecil McCoy George, a fisherman in New Jersey and his later years at Atlantic Veneer as a crane operator. Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth Murray George, daughters; Pastor Terria A. George of Beaufort, Kendra George Murray (Alonza) of Morehead City, Wendy George of Beaufort, son Steven George of Beaufort, grandchildren; Ozmeon George, Joshua Wilson, Kingston George, Isaiah and Chance Wavlle, special granddaughter Janyah Murray. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort.
