Anthony Gillikin

Anthony “Tony” Gillikin, 62, of Beaufort, passed away on Friday, December 22,

2023 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City.

Tony was a skilled carpenter, known for his ability to build anything he set his

mind to, a trait that earned him respect in the carpentry community and beyond.

Tony’s zest for life extended to his social interactions; he was the kind of person

who never met a stranger. His presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who

knew him, and he will be remembered as a good friend with an open heart. His

legacy will be carried on in the countless structures he built and the lives he

touched with his generous spirit.

In honor of his wishes a graveside service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his sister, Tammy Mahouchick of Beaufort.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dolly Gillikin and his three

brothers.
