Anthony "Tony" Morris

Anthony Allen Morris 59 of Morehead City passed away Wednesday August 27,2025 at Novant in Wilmington. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

Anthony, or " Tony" as family and close friends called him had a long career as a carpenter. There wasn't many places from Carteret County to New York City he hadn't had a hand in helping to build. He was well liked by all who knew him as he was very humble and kind-hearted. Always ready with a smile or to lend a hand.

A gathering of friends will be held from 3: 00 to 5:00pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Bridgeway Church in Beaufort with a time of sharing at 4:00pm.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Morris, his father, Roger Morris his son, Anthony Allen Morris ll, and his wife Danielle Morris.

He leaves behind 1 daughter Kerrington Morris,of New York, 1 aunt, Barbara Cox of Morehead City, 1 uncle, Joe Morris, of Morehead City, 3 brothers Donnie Morris of Beulaville, N.C., Peter Morris of Havelock,N.C., Paul Morris of Spring Hope,N.C. 1 sister, Meg Bridgers of Beaufort,N.C.,2 nieces Emily Moss of Illinois and Elizabeth Morris of South River. A special cousin, Janelle Morris also of Morehead City, N.C. and a nephew, Joshua Morris of Spring Hope, N.C. Tony also leaves behind a loving and long- time companion, Sherry Morris and a grandson Levi.
