Dollie Mae Davis, 100, of Beaufort, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2026 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort.
She is survived by her children, Willie Davis of Morehead City; Roy Davis, Lillie Davis, Vincent Davis, and Shelia Pritchard all of the home; grandchildren, Roy Davis Jr., Demeatric Davis Marjorie Davis all of Winston Salem; Morgan Davis Jr. of Mississippi; Derrick Crooms of Atlanta; Johnathan Daivs of Georgia; and Whitney Davis of Greensboro; a generation of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Benders; great grandson, Vincent Davis Jr.; great grandson, Daniel Crooms; great granddaughter, Courtney Crooms.
