Donna Marie Murphy

Donna Marie Murphy, 64, of Beaufort, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, in her home.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Beaufort.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and servant of faith. Though she departed far too soon, her generous spirit and love remain vibrant in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was a natural giver—always offering help, concern, and a listening heart without judgment. Whether you needed a shoulder to cry on, a word of encouragement, or simply her quiet presence, she was always there; selfless and uplifting.

Donna’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her love into each moment, big or small.

In her passing, we find solace in knowing she’s now reunited with her loved ones in the presence of the Lord, watching over us from His almighty kingdom—a comfort we hold close in our hearts. She will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends whose lives she touched with her loving compassion.

Donna is survived by her sons Barry Lee Hunt and John Waylon Hunt (Candace), both of Beaufort; sister, Jo Anne Murphy, of Beaufort; sister, Terry Murphy Rogers, of Beaufort; brother Gary Marlan Murphy (Laura Jones) of Beaufort; grandchildren Braydan Ryder Hunt and Colton Waylon Hunt of Beaufort; and life partner William ‘Billy’ White, of Beaufort.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marlan Huiett Murphy and Evelyn Neel Murphy; and brother, Gregory Neel Murphy.
