Edward Perry Odom Sr.

Edward "Ed" P. Odom Sr., 90, of Atlantic Beach, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Odom retired after 28 years as a driver with Greyhound Bus Company. He was a WWII and Korea Veteran having served in the Merchant Marines. He will be remembered privately. He is survived by his two sons, Ed Odom Jr. and wife, Elaine of Raleigh; H. Lee Odom of Clayton; three grandchildren, Eddie Odom III of Fuquay Varina; Kristen Randle of Nashville, TN; Ashley C. Odom of Raleigh; seven great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Sanford of Norfolk, VA; longtime friend, Alene Hebb of Newport.
