Obituary Harold Lloyd Fisher Jr known by many as ' Honey babe' born on September 8, 1952 and transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Harold was the son of the late Flossie McClain (Ernest) and Harold Fisher Sr. Harold was a devoted husband, father, brother, cousin and friend. Harold was raised in Reels Chapel Church where he was a member of the True Way Gospel Singers. He would later fellowship with Great Joy Worship Center and Faith Tabernacle of Praise. He was a member of the Carteret Craven Mens Chorus and traveled to surrounding churches to minister his gift. Harold worked for Carteret Craven Electric Company for 6 years where he began a forever friendship with Milton Tripp and Melvin Davis. He later retired it all to pursue fulltime carpentry. Harold will be forever remembered by his carpentry work and his love for building and inventing and renovating and building some more If his family and friends had to describe Harold, they would say humble, gentle, meek, 'a morning riser', family man, creative, inventive, master builder, strong, survivor, patient, passionate, loyal, faithful, happy and always willing to lend a hand. Harold loved God, gospel music, singing and he LOVED his family. Whenever his name was ever mentioned, that 'singing boy from Merrimon' would be said... His famous hits are Operator and You cant make it to Heaven if your heart NOT right. Thats right, NOT right! He was definitely a song writer. He would make up a verse at the drop of a dime. He is survived by, his wife Donna Fisher; children, Harold Jr, Justin, Jacqueline, Beda, A'shanti, Evita, Carlos and Dante; sisters, Judy (Terry), LueElla, Wanda, Martha (Tyrone), Barbara (Jeff) and Christine Murrell; brothers, Jerry, Ernest (Judy), Eddie, Phillip and Richard (Cheryl); sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, aunts, Dora Pritchard, Margo Reels and Odessa Reels; uncle, Secar Reels; 16 grandkids; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and devoted friend, Tony Crooms.
