James Michael "Mike" Gillikin

James Michael "Mike" Gillikin, 78, of Otway, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City.

A service will be held at a later date. 

Mike worked as a truck driver for Open Grounds Farm for over thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Thompson Gillikin of Otway; his son, Shaun Michael Gillikin of Bettie; and his granddaughter, Logan Skyler Gillikin of Bettie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertie Gillikin and Ellen Piner Gillikin.
