Janice Lorraine Brown

Janice Lorraine Brown, 55, of Newport, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Novant Heath Medical Center in Wilmington. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort. Burial will follow at Oceanview Cemetery in Beaufort. The family will receive friends during the days at the family home, 102 Dutch Treat Mobile Home Park in Newport. A recording of the service will be posted on the funeral home website at noefs.net.

She is survived by her husband, Edward “Matt” Brown of Newport; son, Cedric Montford of Newport; daughter, Cachet Brown and fiancé, Randall Brown Jr. of Havelock; mother, Helen D. Dunlap of Newport; sister, Sarah Frazier and husband, Marvin of Havelock; brother, Howard Dunlap of Raleigh.

 She was preceded in death by her two sons, Bradly Keith Jr. and Devonte Dunlap.
