Obituary Jerry Lee Riggin,64, passed away Tuesday, April 26th at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, NC. Jerry spent his 64 years on this earth exactly how he wanted, with a cigarette in his hand, a bottle of liquor nearby and his favorite music on repeat in the background! He loved fast cars and pretty women but none as much as he loved his Dee! He spent his younger years driving 18 wheelers and working on cars. When he wasn't working he was dancing the nights away at The Circle on Atlantic Beach. A back injury took the two step out of his feet but never out of his heart. Jerry loved more than most could comprehend and would have given the shirt off his back to anybody in need. He would call at midnight to holler "PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON ETHEL" and hang up just to make you laugh. As long as he could put a smile on somebody's face he was a happy man. His laugh was contagious and would have you in tears by the end of just about every conversation. This world lost an angel the day heavens gates opened and his brothers came to take him home with them. HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST "God saw that he was getting tired, A cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer, And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best" Jerry is survived by many who loved him including the love of his life Sharon Angelique Dee DuBois, his daughter Nicole Pavone, her husband Michael Pavone and her children James Michael Guthrie and Sabrina Rhayne Guthrie, his daughter Lisa Marie Hester and her children Devonte Graham and Sierra Graham, his sister-in-law Juanita Graham, her daughter Mary Clark and husband Kevin and their daughter Kylei, his sister Brenda Joyce Bush and husband Randy and their children Pauline, Priscilla and Gary, sister Ina Collins and husband Randy, cousins Brenda, Faye, Carl, Debbie, Charles, and Angela Edwards, and many others.
