Obituary John Douglas Goodwin, 76, of Lewiston, Maine, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Beaufort, NC. He was a man of honor and respect with a rare devotion to his family and his country. John leaves behind his wife and best friend Karen Goodwin of 30 years; his three daughters, Sheila Griffin, Alison Stimson, and Sarah Bennett; three sons, Ryan Goodwin, James Goodwin, and Scott Elie; his sister, Judy Buckley and husband Robert; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life in Lewiston, Maine with family and friends at a later date.
