JP Pollock

JP Pollock, 83, of Supply, NC, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Autumn Care of Raeford, NC. 

Beginning at a very early age, JP was fascinated with radios and how you could listen to people in foreign countries over them. That led to an eventual career in the electronics field. After earning a degree in electronics he went to work for IBM. Later with UNC he designed equipment that would monitor the actions of rats for behavioral studies. After several endeavors at owning his own businesses, he settled in Brunswick County and operated JP/Thomas Electronics in Supply, NC until his retirement.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 27th, 2024, at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Pollock of Beaufort; sister, Janet Faye Brooks of Brighton, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, WT (Thomas) Pollock, of Goldsboro, NC.
