Obituary Judy K. Schofield, 50, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at her home. She loved her family and her animals; she was a very giving person. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Amariah Garner Cemetery with Pastor David Phelps officiating. She is survived by her significant other, Keith Godwin Jr. of Newport; father, Robert C. Schofield Jr. of Kinston; uncle, Johnny Schofield of Beaufort. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth S. Schofield; two uncles, Jimmy and Phillip Schofield; paternal grandparents, Robert and Hetty Schofield; maternal grandparents, Mae and Coy Whitlow.
