Obituary Kenneth Wallace Wright, Jr. 89, of Beaufort, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a graduate of Morehead City High School and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Per his request, a private burial took place on Tuesday at Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Blake Wright of the home; two children, David Wright of Beaufort; and Betsey Wright Penney and husband Michael of Raleigh; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth W. Wright, Sr. and Mary Broda Wright; son, Randolph Blake Wright; brother, Vincent B. Wright, and sister, Lucille Wright Bowen.
