Linda Smith

Linda Murrell Smith, 76, of North River, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

She is survived by her three children, Wallace Smith of North River; Angie Smith of North River; Nicky Smith of North River; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Murrell and Norman Murrell both of Harrells; sister, Daine Eakins of Harrells.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eunice Murrell; husband, Clifton Smith Jr.; son, Timmy Smith; three brothers, John Potter Murrell; Bobby Murrell, and Paul Murrell.
