Melissa Alqazah

Melissa Alqazah, 45, of Beaufort, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern.

She worked at Burger King and Donna's Deli in Beaufort. Melissa enjoyed listening to music, cooking for her friends, and was known among friends as a good hairdresser.

She is survived by her two sons, Taureon Small of Beaufort; Tresean Small of Beaufort; mother, Mary Wilson of Beaufort; two sisters, Matilda Reels and husband, Jamie of Beaufort; Brittney Small of Vanceboro; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Small; paternal grandparents, Coretta Small and Ernest Barret; maternal grandparents, Eva Bell and Charlie Wilson.
