Nora Kay Willis, 79, of Smyrna, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport.
The family will celebrate her life privately.
A devoted member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, Nora was deeply involved in church life and found great purpose in her faith community. Her commitment to service extended far beyond the church walls—she dedicated much of her life to caring for others, particularly as a compassionate caregiver to the elderly.
Nora cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unwavering and evident in every aspect of her life. She lived with a generous heart and a spirit of selflessness that touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Pittman of Smyrna; son, Al Willis Jr. and wife, Allison of Bettie; daughter, Kimberly McKoy and husband, Tony of Tar Heel, NC; grandson, Cameron Willis and wife, Jocelyn of Otway; grandson, Chris Willis of Albany, GA; granddaughter, Kayla Bogdanich of Jacksonville; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Johnson and fiancé, Conner of Morehead City; grandson, Alex Jones of Tar Heel, NC; grandson, Isaiah Jones of Bristol, TN; great grandchildren, Sophie Gray Willis of Otway; Sophia Kay Bogdanich of Jacksonville; Nikolai Bogdanich of Jacksonville; Kyah-Noemi Jones of Bristol, TN; and Lavon Jones of New Bern.
She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Lewis and her mother, Nora Lewis; husband, Willie Guy Willis Jr.; son-in-law, Eric Pittman; and her six brothers and sisters.
