Sandra "Sandy" Stephens

Our beautiful mother, Sandy Stephens, 63, passed away peacefully in her home on February 6th, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Woodville Baptist Church in Bettie. The service will be livestreamed and available below. Private burial will follow at the Arthur Family Cemetery.

Sandy was born February 2nd in South Burlington, Vermont. She was raised as one of ten children by her mother. She moved to Virginia as a young adult and started a business, built a home, and made many dear friends. Sandy was happiest at the beach and moved to the Crystal Coast for her retirement where she enjoyed many days with her feet in the sand and her face in the sun.

Vibrant and vivacious, Sandy brightened any room she walked in. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who loved and cared deeply for everyone in her life.

She is survived by her children, David Bouffard, Nicole Mozart, Jennifer Donnelly, Samantha Stephens, Leo Stephens; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters and five brothers.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Crystal Trombly, and her son-in-law, Irvin Donnelly.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to be made in her name to the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House. Donations may be made here.
