Vernon Adair Fulcher

Vernon Adair Fulcher, 65, of Harkers Island, passed away Thursday August 25, 2016 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City. Mr. Fulcher made a living as a boat builder and a commercial fisherman. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday August 29, 2016 at Free Grace Wesleyan Church of Harkers Island with Pastor Clinton Nelson officiating. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Massie Fulcher of Harkers Island; daughter, Joyce Fulcher Wortham of Straits; grandson, Tyler Wortham of Straits; granddaughter, Katelyn Wortham of Straits; brother, David Rodney Fulcher of Otway; two sisters, Laura L. Fulcher of Otway; Cheryl Fulcher Lewis of Harkers Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Laura Marie Fulcher.
