Obituary
Craig Morris, 57, of Beaufort, formerly of Adams Creek, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harkers Island Ward (1007 Island Rd, Harkers Island, NC 28531). Burial will follow at St. Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Craig Morris Jr. and Gerald Wallace; daughter, Kyra Morris; two brothers, Johnny Mack Morris of LA, and Gene Morris (Carolyn) of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Katie Murray (Julius) of Beaufort, Rita Benders (Artiss) of Beaufort, and Galetta White (Michael) of Havelock; aunt, Fanny Wooten of Beaufort; and former wife, Aby Dudley of Morehead City; aunt, Francis Wallace of Portsmouth, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Robena Morris.
