Joseph "Joe" Randolph Bryant

 Joseph “Joe” Randolph Bryant, 67, of Beaufort passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC.

Joseph was a native of Beaufort, NC and graduated from East Carteret High School. Joe worked as a crew member on the Roman Shores and Frosty Morn Menhaden boats in Abbeville, LA. He also committed himself to helping the sick and shut in members of the community.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Purvis Chapel AME Zion Church of Beaufort. Burial will follow at Oceanview Cemetery of Beaufort.

He is survived by his mother, Magalene Bryant of Beaufort, NC; brother, James Irving Bryant, Jr of Beaufort; five sisters, Christine Bryant of Beaufort; Maggie B. Mathewson and husband, Oscar of Fayetteville, NC; Magalene Bryant of Beaufort, NC; Terry Manuel and husband, Bishop Raynard Manuel, Sr. of Morehead City, NC; Debbie B. Hunt and husband, Phillip of Havelock, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and many loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Irving Bryant, Sr.; brother, David Leroy Bryant; sister, Annie B. Anderson; and nephew, Angus Bryant Sr.

Masks are required at the service.

The family is currently receiving family and friends at the home of his mother.  Ms. Magalene Bryant 515 Marsh Street Beaufort, NC 28516.
