Sandra "Sandy" Jarvis Fletcher

Sandra Jarvis Fletcher, 56, of Beaufort, passed away May 3, 2023, at Carteret Health Care surrounded by her family.

Sandy was born on June 11, 1966, in Mount Airy, NC to the late Smith Jarvis and living mother, Sharon Oakley Shackelford. Sandy spent her lifetime caring for others as a caring, devoted CNA. To know her was to love her. Her beauty, her smile, her funny sense of humor and loving heart.

Sandy is preceded in death by her father, Smith Jarvis, brother, Steve Jarvis and his son, Bo Jarvis, and brother, John Jarvis. Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving mother, Sharon Shackelford, son, and grandson whom she loved beyond measure, Travis Fletcher and Alan Fletcher, sister and best friend, Stephanie and Michael Smith and children, Jes Smith, Madison Smith, Cameron Smith and her sidekick and BFF, Ailee Goings, sister, Kimberly Jarvis and children, Derrick and Nicole Atkins, Darren Atkins and Lauren Hull, brother, James Jarvis and children, Aaron Jarvis, Serina Jarvis, Mykinna Jarvis, Zeb Jarvis and Gracie Goings, niece to the late Steve, Shenna Vaughn. She also leaves behind many, many great nephews, and nieces whom she loved and adored.

A celebration of life will be held in her hometown of Mount Airy, NC at a disclosed date for the family and friends to honor such a fun and loving soul.
